Today I ate a slice of pizza in a hospital bed 🍕🏥 and tried to smile as if everything were normal. Some days feel “good.”

Lord and Eternal God, we place Jacob in your loving hands. May your will be done in his life, and may you, Beloved Father, heal him of this illness. You are the Physician of physicians, and in you we trust. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
I declare in the name that is above every name, that the Spirit
that raised Jesus Christ from the dead…that same Spirit will raise you from this bed you are in. Amen. So be it.
